Was ist Cmake ?

CMake ist bekanntes Entwicklerwerkzeug, mit dem man aus Skriptdateien (CMakeLists.txt) Makefiles und Projekte für Entwicklungsumgebungen und Compiler erzeugt, z.B. für Visual Studio und XCode. Cmake wird vorallem für C und C++ eingesetzt.

CMake is used to control the software compilation process using simple platform and compiler independent configuration files, and generate native makefiles and workspaces that can be used in the compiler environment of your choice.
