Was ist .NET Foundation ?

Die .NET Foundation ist eine von Microsoft gegründete Organisation, die die Weiterentwicklung von .NET und .NET-basierter Open Source-Lösungen fördert. Sie wurde erstmals auf der BUILD-Konferenz am 3.4.2014 angekündigt.

"The .NET Foundation is an independent forum to foster open development and collaboration around the growing collection of open source technologies around the .NET development framework.

The .NET Foundation serves as a forum for community and commercial developers alike to broaden and strengthen the future of the .NET ecosystem by promoting openness and community participation to encourage innovation as well as providing support services for a growing community of projects."
